Our annual Hooked On Heroes event is one of the most impactful gatherings we host—and for some
veterans, it can truly be a lifesaving experience. For those who feel alone, misunderstood, or
overwhelmed, this event reminds them that they are valued, supported, and part of a community that
cares deeply about their well-being.
To continue this life-changing work, we must raise $30,000 this year.
Your sponsorship is more than a donation—it is an investment in the lives of the men and women who served our country. It ensures that every veteran who attends feels the gratitude of a community that stands behind them. Your support may lift someone from a dark place, help them reconnect, or even save a life.
We invite you to join us as a partner in healing, hope, and heroism.

While large corporations often provide financial backing, the fishing industry provides something equally powerful — the gear, equipment, and experiences that make this event extraordinary.
Many of our fishing partners may not have large marketing budgets — but their products carry tremendous value. Rods, reels, tackle, marine accessories, apparel, electronics, and outdoor equipment create excitement for our veterans and elevate the entire experience.
We are proud to offer a sponsorship structure that recognizes both cash contributions and high-value in-kind product donations.

Each year, veterans, active-duty service members, and volunteers for a powerful weekend of healing, camaraderie, and connection on the water. This event is more than a fishing event, it is a mission-driven experience designed to help veterans reconnect with themselves and with one another.
Many of the men and women who attend this event carry the invisible wounds of service: PTSD, anxiety, depression, and the challenges of transitioning back into civilian life. For them, a weekend surrounded by fellow veterans, supportive volunteers, and the peaceful environment of the outdoors can be profoundly therapeutic. Veterans consistently tell us that the experience helps them rediscover hope, rebuild friendships, and remember that they are not alone.
To make this experience possible, we rely on the generosity of supporters who believe in our mission. One of the most meaningful ways to help is through our Veteran Lodging and Boat Captain Support initiatives, which ensure that every participant has a safe and comfortable place to stay during the event.
Together, these two initiatives directly support the heart of Hooked on Heroes: bringing veterans and volunteers together for a life-changing experience on the water.
Every sponsored room, every supported captain, and every act of generosity helps create an environment where veterans can laugh again, share their stories, and remember the strength of brotherhood and sisterhood forged in service.
Your support is more than a donation — it is a message to our veterans that their sacrifices are remembered, their service is honored, and their well-being matters.

A contribution of $525 fully sponsors the lodging for one veteran attending Hooked on Heroes. This support removes financial barriers and ensures that the veteran can focus on what truly matters — reconnecting with fellow service members, enjoying time on the water, and finding moments of peace and healing. For many participants, this weekend becomes a turning point, reminding them that their community still stands behind them.

Our volunteer boat captains are the backbone of this event. These dedicated individuals donate their time, boats, equipment, and expertise to ensure every veteran has a meaningful and safe fishing experience. A $350 Boat Captain Support sponsorship helps offset lodging and operational costs for these volunteers, allowing them to continue serving those who served us.
